Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital
San Antonio, TX
Methodist hired Daniel Boddie to renovate a linear accelerator laboratory into a CT room. This CT model is one of only two in the entire United States and provides state of the art imaging for cancer and orthopedic needs.
This room required a hole to be cut in the 3ft thick concrete walls in order to be opened up for new entry ways; in order to contain dust from that cut, plastic containment tents and negative air machines were utilized. New lighting, med gas, and all of the infrastructure for the CT were added,
The project was scheduled to be completed in 6 weeks, but the owner accelerated the deadline. The project was completed on time, and in 4 weeks.
